Responsibilities:
- Represent healthcare providers in regulatory and corporate and transactional matters
- Handle state and federal regulatory aspects of health law, including HIPAA, Stark, anti-kickback, and fraud and abuse laws
- Draft and review contracts, ensure compliance, and obtain licensure and accreditation
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on industry regulations and changes
- Work closely with clients to provide legal advice and counsel on health law matters
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Connecticut bar (or willingness to become admitted)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in health law, preferably with a focus on regulatory and transactional matters
- Strong knowledge of state and federal health law regulations
- Excellent writing skills and top academic credentials
