Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on health law issues
- Write and review legal documents, including briefs, memoranda, and contracts
- Advise clients on health care laws and regulations
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as administrative hearings and appeals
- Collaborate with team members and clients to develop effective legal strategies
- Stay up-to-date on changes in health care laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Florida Bar passage required
- Up to five years of experience in health law
- Excellent analytical research and writing skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Knowledge of health care laws and regulations
- Familiarity with business licensing and Federal and State regulatory compliance
- Experience with managed care and Medicare and Medicaid coverage and reimbursement a plus
