# Senior Associate/Junior Partner – Civil Litigation King Law Offices, PC is a well-established and respected civil litigation firm that is seeking an experienced civil litigation attorney to join their team as a Senior Associate or Junior Partner. This position is available in multiple locations including: Columbus (Polk Co., NC), Marion (McDowell Co., NC), Lincolnton (Lincoln Co., NC), Waynesville, (Haywood Co., NC), Charlotte (Mecklenburg), and Brevard (Transylvania Co., NC). The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. ## Responsibilities * Represent clients in various civil dispute matters, including but not limited to collections, construction litigation, demand letters, landlord-tenant matter, and malicious prosecution * Manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met and providing regular updates to clients * Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs * Engage in negotiation and mediation efforts to resolve disputes amicably * Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management * Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client meetings * Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals ## Requirements * . from an accredited law school and an active member in good standing with a state bar association * 2-10 years of experience practicing family law * Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills * Strong negotiation and mediation skills * Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload * Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered focus * Experience in business development and networking activities is a plus ## Salary Range The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience). ## What We Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off * Opportunities for professional growth and development, including access to continuing legal education * A collegial work environment that values teamwork, diversity, and work-life balance * Potential for partnership track, depending on qualifications and performance
