Bad Faith & Insurance Coverage Partner

Job Responsibilities:
The attorney will be part of the Insurance Coverage Practice at the law firm. The primary responsibilities include:
- Analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions regarding first-party property and general liability matters.
- Engaging in litigation activities such as taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions.
- Conducting strong research and writing tasks related to insurance coverage and claims.
- Representing insurers in complex coverage claims, which includes monitoring, mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief litigation in state and federal courts across the United States.
- Interpreting contracts of all kinds and dealing with various insurance-related entities such as primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, third-party administrators, managing general agents, insurance brokers and agents, and independent adjustment companies.

Education and Experience Information:
- The candidate must have at least seven (7) years of experience in analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions regarding first-party property and general liability matters.
- Litigation experience is required, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions.
- Strong research and writing skills are necessary.
- Admission to the Nevada Bar is required.
- While experience in insurance law is preferred, the law firm is also interested in attorneys with substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in insurance law.
