Law firm Post & Schell, . is seeking a motivated Associate to join their Energy & Utilities Group in either Pittsburgh or Harrisburg. This position offers a unique opportunity to represent public utilities before state and federal regulatory agencies and appellate courts. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience and a strong interest in litigation, appellate practice, regulatory compliance, administrative law, and energy law.

Responsibilities:
The Associate will be responsible for representing public utilities before state and federal regulatory agencies and appellate courts. Specific responsibilities may include:

Conducting legal research and writing memoranda and briefs.
Assisting with preparation for hearings and trials.
Participating in negotiations and settlement discussions.
Communicating with clients and other parties involved in cases.
Attending professional association meetings and conferences.
Participating in pro bono opportunities.

Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position will meet the following requirements:

Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
Additional admission(s) to District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, and/or West Virginia considered helpful but not necessary.
0-3 years of experience.
Strong academic credentials.
Interest in litigation, appellate practice, regulatory compliance, administrative law, and energy law.
Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
