HR needs to be reevaluated and changed to protect their employees. Support staff should be treated fairly. Partners need to be respectful and professional.

Junior level associates and support staff are a pleasure to work with in case you have any questions.

Partners of the firm do not take you seriously. Agree with most of the posts about the superiority they feel towards staff. HR does nothing to protect you just to save their faces and keep their jobs, especially that the partners are watching. I developed major anxiety of the unknown. Asking a simple question to your partners is an impossible task.

A JOKE.

Hire better management, sit down with the partners and have them put pen to paper to teach them to not be disrespectful, inconsiderate and know-it-all's to their staff like children. Staff come to work, for them, work hard each day, for them, take on the stress, for them. They are no better and not superior to anyone and shame on them for continuing the pattern of behavior.

Junior level associates, location, administrative staff and support staff.

I agree with the other reviews. What a JOKE. The worst of the worst. Partners are demeaning, unprofessional. Was yelled at for "not knowing" the answer to a question and it was my FIRST WEEK. Because I needed this job, I endured the emotional stress and degrading behavior of the partners and staff. Their practice I am sure is not 100% truthful and lawful. After a about a year, I had to leave. The unprofessional, condensing and know-it-all behavior of the partners in the New York and Buffalo offices affected my personal and professional life. Even after working hard, end of the year, there was no recognition and no raise. The best thing I did was leave and trust me, no job is worth that stress.

Partners in the Manhattan and Buffalo offices.

Leaving the job.

Refrain from New York Offices

Change HR management in New York Office. They are not their to help and instead their to keep their job and job security safe. Instead of supporting the staff that stays late and bust their humps, HR and partners discuss things among themselves with no guidance to their staff as far as improvements. Definitely not a team player and instead higher ups try to save their face/jobs then others.

Day-to-day interactions and work ethic of junior level associates, paralegals and administrative staff, office morale of paralegals, junior level associates and administrative staff.

New York office is the worst. Steer clear. To get a simple vacation day is the biggest task. The partners throw the work at you and expect you to just figure it out with no help from them. Don't even try to ask them, you are just a number. Training is a joke and done via on the phone with another office. Terrible. If you stay late, don't expect anyone to ask you why and/or ask if you want dinner or a cab ride home.

Any Partner in the New York and Rochester Offices as noted above. You will not be part of a team, you will be part of a team that is out to save themselves.

WHAT A JOKE.

HIRE NEW MANAGEMENT/HR. People are miserable and mistreated and poorly given any raises or promotions although they are the ones that help the MOST. Someone needs to get rid of HR and management in the NY office ASAP. New management would allow for fairness and equality.

Commute, Junior-level associates and paralegal day-to-day communication and team player abilities they all demonstrated. Really the only thing that makes going to work somewhat bearable.

Agreed with the prior comments. HORRIBLE HR and management in New York Office. Partners are inconsiderate, belittling and condescending. and HR and management back them up in their decision making with no sympathy or any reasoning. HR and partners DO NOT and WILL not have the admin and paralegal backs and will only turn on them in an effort to save face and their job. Mind you, they do the most work for them. Pathetic. Don't even get me started on their practice, pretty sure they are breaking the laws and violating ethics to another level. It is unfortunate that someone has family and financial obligations and are stuck here. STAY away.

New York, Buffalo offices. No office morale, no consideration, rude, condescending, you stay late, not even an offer of dinner and/or care enough to make sure you are home safely.

None. Maybe wanting the clock to turn 5:00 p.m. is a favorite, commute, Junior-level associates and paralegals communication, team players of the paralegals and admin stuff however it goes unnoticed and stomped on by the partners at the office.

Terrible. Stay Away.

Change management entirely. The partners are short of unprofessional and twisted. Not there to motivate employees but instead demean and disrespect them. Shame on them. And shame on HR and management to be blinded by their superiority to speak up. Your employees do not deserve this. Especially administrative assistants who are there to help.

Junior-level associates, location, office ambiance, secretarial, administrative and receptionist staff who are willing to offer their help whenever needed.

STAY AWAY and save yourself from the misery that the partners at the New York office will put you through. Endless nights, no dinners, no consideration and back-handed comments. No job is worth the nightmare at this firm.

New York (especially), Buffalo and Rochester partners were never the best. Partners had an Ora that they were not worth asking for any of help.

Junior level associate communication and assistance from those who are not a higher up in the firm. Everyone higher up was of no assistance.
