Former Employee Mr. San Francisco

The firm should consider promoting employees that work hard. There should be room for employees to be able to mentor entry or recent college graduates, after the employee has been promoted within the firm.

An environment is created in which staff is able to effectively come together and work collectively. Staff that works hard is rewarded with more opportunities to learn.

Although many opportunities to learn are offered, there is a lack of room to grow career wise. Many of the staff members are moved from teams. Requesting time off is a difficult thing to do as it requires weeks of advance notice.

Overview

Tydings & Rosenberg LLP is not your average law firm. With over eighty years of experience, this Maryland-based firm has established itself as a trusted advocate for large corporations, privately-held businesses, and individuals alike. What sets Tydings & Rosenberg apart from the rest is their commitment to listening to their clients and delivering efficient solutions to their legal problems.

One of the key advantages of working at Tydings & Rosenberg is the firm's size. While they may not be the largest firm in the area, their agility allows them to respond quickly to the ever-changing needs of their clients. At the same time, they possess a depth of resources that enables them to handle matters of any complexity and size. This means that attorneys and staff at Tydings & Rosenberg have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, gaining valuable experience and honing their skills in various areas of law.

Experience and efficiency are the hallmarks of Tydings & Rosenberg's representation. Unlike other firms that prioritize the number of attorneys on a case, Tydings & Rosenberg emphasizes the quality of work. They understand that experience is invaluable, especially in high-stakes situations such as bet-the-company lawsuits or transformative transactions. That's why a senior attorney takes the lead on every matter that comes their way. This ensures that clients receive the steady hand and expertise necessary to navigate complex legal challenges.

At Tydings & Rosenberg, the client's business goals and budget are always taken into account. The lead attorney assumes full responsibility for the matter, working closely with associates and paralegals when appropriate. This collaborative approach allows for efficient problem-solving and cost-effective solutions. Clients can trust that their legal matters are in capable hands, and attorneys and staff can take pride in their ability to deliver results while keeping the client's best interests in mind.

Joining Tydings & Rosenberg comes with a host of benefits. Attorneys and staff have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most respected and experienced legal professionals in the industry. The firm's commitment to professional development ensures that employees have access to ongoing training and mentorship opportunities, allowing them to continuously grow and expand their skillset.

The firm also values work-life balance and understands the importance of personal well-being. Tydings & Rosenberg offers a supportive and inclusive work environment, where employees are encouraged to take care of themselves both inside and outside of the office. This commitment to work-life balance not only benefits the individual but also contributes to a positive and collaborative atmosphere within the firm.

In addition to the professional and personal benefits, Tydings & Rosenberg is also known for its commitment to giving back to the community. The firm actively participates in pro bono work and community service initiatives, providing attorneys and staff with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact beyond their day-to-day legal work.

In conclusion, working at Tydings & Rosenberg LLP is an exciting opportunity for attorneys and staff. With a focus on listening to clients, delivering efficient solutions, and prioritizing experience and quality of work, this Maryland law firm offers a unique and rewarding professional experience. From the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging cases to the supportive work environment and commitment to community service, Tydings & Rosenberg provides a platform for individuals to thrive and make a difference in the legal field.

Summer associate program

The Summer Associate Program is the primary, but not exclusive, recruiting source for hiring first year associates at Tydings & Rosenberg LLP. Our recruiting for the program begins in the fall, and offers are made for the following summer.

Our goal during the summer is to provide law students with the experience of what it would be like as an associate in the firm. We strive to provide each summer associate with broad exposure to our firm's practice areas, while allowing them the opportunity to get to know the attorneys in the firm, and to enjoy the unique quality of life at Tydings. At the same time, we seek to provide opportunities for the members of our firm to get to know and evaluate each summer associate as a potential lawyer with the firm. To accomplish our goals, we have designed a summer program that can be divided into five components:
