What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
The firm should consider promoting employees that work hard. There should be room for employees to be able to mentor entry or recent college graduates, after the employee has been promoted within the firm.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
An environment is created in which staff is able to effectively come together and work collectively. Staff that works hard is rewarded with more opportunities to learn.
What did you not like about this institution?
Although many opportunities to learn are offered, there is a lack of room to grow career wise. Many of the staff members are moved from teams. Requesting time off is a difficult thing to do as it requires weeks of advance notice.

The Summer Associate Program is the primary, but not exclusive, recruiting source for hiring first year associates at Tydings & Rosenberg LLP. Our recruiting for the program begins in the fall, and offers are made for the following summer.

We strive to provide each summer associate with broad exposure to our firm's practice areas, while allowing them the opportunity to get to know the attorneys in the firm, and to enjoy the unique quality of life at Tydings. At the same time, we seek to provide opportunities for the members of our firm to get to know and evaluate each summer associate as a potential lawyer with the firm. To accomplish our goals, we have designed a summer program that can be divided into five components:
