Advice to law firm management:
Get ready to put in work from day one, and get ready to make an excellent impression. This firm gives you the chance to really make a name for yourself if you are willing to put in the time and effort to earn that respect.
Pros:
There is a plethora of networking contacts here, and you will get to know some of the top legal minds in the area. That kind of contact list cannot be bought. You will want to make the most of this chance to get to know the top talent.
Cons:
As with most law firms, there is stiff competition for billable hours and for salary. You might find you'll make more money elsewhere. You might also find that your client list is not as long as you'd like here.

Advice to law firm management:
HR or management needs to be more open to criticism and improve the faults within the system. Some have left because of it.
Pros:
I worked here since I started in the field, and all my teammates have been bright and top of the line as far as work ethic.
Cons:

Pro bono
Our firm encourages all of its lawyers to participate in pro bono activities for which we give credit as for billable work. Each lawyer can work on projects and legal issues of his or her own choosing, and even new associates and students in our summer program have opportunities to become involved in pro bono matters. Our goals for pro bono work include serving the public, providing quality legal services to persons or organizations who could not otherwise afford them, and providing practice opportunities and experience for attorneys-especially associates-not otherwise readily available to them.
