Be more willing to promote people from within and to give them the chance to expand their roles. You seem to already have cultivated an environment where people want to work and enjoy day to day operations, so they'll be loyal if they just get a chance to demonstrate themselves.

Partners and most other individuals were great to work with. Many people were willing to answer questions and provide informal mentoring. Good pick for recent college graduates.

Job security could feel uncertain, at times, though this applied more to staff. It felt like I'd be perpetually stuck in my previous role and at a fairly mediocre salary. People seemed to recognize other's potential, but stopped short of actually giving them more responsibility.
