You'll have opportunities to learn and upgrade your skills but you need to be flexible and a quick learner. The challenge is to maintain work-life balance.

Variety of work available and you can choose whatever you like. I would say I had diverse experience while working as an attorney at this law firm. Great people and support from across the board to help you progress with your career.
What did you not like about this institution?
At times I felt that project deadlines are unrealistic. At time I felt that promotions tend to be based on relationship not merit.

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
The firm should work on increasing diversity among senior attorney and partner recruiting efforts in an effort to improve junior attorney retention.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The firm has strong corporate and transactional practices. The partners seem to genuinely care about their clients and instill that feeling in junior lawyers.
What did you not like about this institution?
The firm still struggles to recruit and retain talent from a variety of backgrounds. Despite recent efforts, the senior associates are largely white, and the membership is predominantly white men.
People, departments, offices, products, services and whatever comes to mind that should be avoided at this institution
Off hand, I cannot think of any particular partners to avoid, though certainly some are better than others, and some are more conscientious than others.
How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
The firm does a good job of ensuring junior lawyers get opportunities to flourish in their practice by taking on more and more responsibilities.
