Hire a team of understanding staff and expand rather than always blaming others and making the office seem like a clique. Don't lie to new employees and take a look in the mirror rather than trying to cover up bad reviews on other sites.
A lot of staff are nice and helpful and genuinely want to help you succeed
All of it. The HR department is run by an accountant, the DC office is empty and the culture is extremely toxic and unforgiving. In staff meetings higher ups will look for new ways to have lower staff do more work while also complaining about how the work is done. They don't allow you the freedom they claim to work from home and will find ways to punish you. Within 2 weeks I was told to avoid certain staff and accept their rude demeaner as part of who they are. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Hire based on skill and qualifications, not race and/or religion. Stop allowing the elderly secretary that works there to bully staff members. I actually once heard her loudly ask an IT guy over and over again if he was stupid. Yet no one made it clear to her that behavior was inappropriate because the person she is assigned to gives her carte blanche to do whatever she wants.
No matter what kind of day it was it the light at the end of the tunnel was at least being able to “escape” to lunch, that is until the highly unqualified CFO decided to use lunchtime for work-related meetings. But then again how would a CFO that’s never worked at a law firm know how inappropriate it is to deprive staff of their lunch hour. She claims to be a financial expert but didn’t even understand what certain tax forms were for. Given the firms constant racist slurs and hiring practices, I guess she fit into the preferred demographic.
No HR, no associates, no qualified administrative assistants. I’m consistently surprised that this place is still even open. If you are skilled and get called to interview there, run! Once they get a hold of someone who is skilled, qualified and capable of actual thought all the work gets dumped on that person. And that is the case in EVERY department.
Most of the equity partners suffer from a severe case of Napoleon Complex, making them all pretty avoidable.
