Former Employee

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Norris McLaughlin is on its way down the tube as more and more lawyers leave and income dwindles.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
Nothing at all.

What did you not like about this institution?
Poor treatment of anyone other than those on management committee. Partners, associates and paraprofessionals are underpaid and treated horribly. Norris McLaughlin lawyers treat clients horribly, produce below par work product, and overbill clients. The paraprofessionals are not happy at this place because of how management treats them. It’s a bunch of old white men that run the place. Corrupt.

People, departments, offices, products, services and whatever comes to mind that should be avoided at this institution
Avoid the entire firm. Don’t trust management committee because the members don’t give a damn. David Roberts, Robert Mahoney, the recruitment person in New Jersey, David Blatteis, Melissa Pena, the COO. Marketing sucks.

How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
Shut down because its services are below par and the lawyers over bill. The lawyers that work there lack intelligence, know how, and are forced to over-bill clients.
