Some attorneys seem like better lawyers than managers, and vice versa, yet it seems like few individuals are being used in exactly the right ways. Also, it is positive that the firm is such a good choice for young professionals, yet they are sometimes overloaded when they don't speak up. Understand that school needs to come first for many young workers so that they can be more valuable in the near future.
Somewhat flexible scheduling - good pick for current law students; lots of opportunities to demonstrate competence and learn new, real-world skills. Work is somewhat interesting. Lots of client interaction; many opportunities to stay on after internship experiences.
Expectations can be unreasonably high relative to one's capabilities and education, and sometimes not enough guidance or direction is provided. Pay is on the lower side. Work-life balance sometimes is not great, if you have not allocated time away from the firm for your studies.
Thank you.
