Advice to law firm management: If you have an open schedule, that is great. Let them know and you'll have all of the hours you could ask for.

Pros: I was with Carney Badley Spellman, P.S. for just over a year on a temporary contract. It was a great place to learn new skills and make connections.

Cons: The scheduling was a bit chaotic, so I had to stay longer and come in earlier on certain days, but it was manageable.

Pros: The firm offers a great compensation package. The firm itself has a great laid back atmosphere that makes it a joy to work for. The office is very beautiful and makes you want to spend time there.

Cons: Because this company prides itself on structure you won't be able to just come and go. You have a time that you start and a time that you finish.
