Law Student Intern The candidate will join Civil Division. Will play a vital and active role in the success of this office. Legal interns and externs do real attorneys work and represent the community in the courtroom, including trials. Conduct legal research and writing on a variety of topics for the risk management attorneys. Interns may also appear on behalf of the State in minor administrative hearings and assist attorneys in trial preparation.

Legal interns and externs do real attorneys work and represent the community in the courtroom, including trials. Handle all aspects of District Court Practice, from arraignments and pre-trial conferences to trials and post-conviction hearings, on both traffic and domestic violence cases. Note: 14 hours/week.
