Poorly managed firm

Get rid of the uneducated and inexperienced supervisors. Hire quality. Thank god that awful human being who was the "lead" secretary is leaving. She is so mean and abusive.

Favoritism and incompetence are promoted. Many partners recently left and one took some of the awful girls with him. Their behaviors were horrific to co workers for years. Low salaries. Ridiculous billing hours. Very poor working conditions. People don't go to work to work, they go to gossip and divide the workforce.

Nothing is positive about this place. Miserable people get promoted and there is a lack of management. This firm needs to clean house and start over. Too much gossip. Thank god the lead secretary left because she was the source of all gosdip and was a miserable little girl.

The ones that are leaving....and the associates. They ruin firm culture. Half the firm doesn't like 1 attorney but she was promoted to a partner because she kissed ads and stepped on peoples backs to get ahead. Thank god those 4 awful attorneys are leaving.

Nothing is good. Sloppy work product and inexperience lawyers mess up cases and don't care. Staff is treated poorly.

A Great Place to Start

Be prepared to do some homework outside of the office when you first start here so you can be ready for anything.

I was hired for a 1 year contract at Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP, and it was a great learning experience. I learned so much from the hands-on approach.

The work is quite hard but it can be managed. The resources are a bit tricky to comb through at first.

Easy Computer Programs

Pay attorneys more or lower the billable hour requirement and you will get more people to stick around.

Most of the attorneys are very nice and the benefits are good. The computer programs are easy to use.

The firm needs to give bigger salaries. There also needs to be proper HR support for employees.

An Okay Experience

I would encourage this firm to not just settle for the average but for to go beyond it. Especiallywhen it comes to your employees.

An Okay Experience

The work environment was somewhat dull and I never really connected toanyone except for work purposes. We sometimes are required to work long hours and it is stressful,as to be expected, but I don't remember ever having a day without some sort of stress. Prepareto put in a lot of hours. Not much upward mobility here.
