Bodman Reviews

- Reviewed on July 28, 2017

Advice to law firm management: The leadership team should consider fostering an environment that values teamwork rather than competition. I think that would improve morale tremendously.

Pros: The building and amenities here are very nice and the support staff is well trained. The location is also good, and parking is easy to find.

Cons: There is very little trust within the firm due to the competitive environment created by leadership. Everyone is working hard to meet their own goals and have very little time for anyone else.

We do not take a "cookie-cutter" approach. We look for the most expedient ways to address each client's particular legal issues. In a very real sense, we are "lawyers' lawyers" – we have represented seven of the largest law firms in Michigan when they have had legal issues. This says a lot about our reputation and record of success. We have avoided unrestrained expansion in favor of maintaining a close-knit working group. We put matters under direct control of experienced attorneys, n...
