What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Watch for practice area bias.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The firm is truly committed to your growth and development. Hours requirement is 1850 -- totally doable. Managing partners coordinate workflow. Partners have plenty of work, even during pandemic. Lots of interesting work and good people to work with. Clients are great for the most part.
What did you not like about this institution?
There is a geographic bias in favor of the largest office in LA. Some practice areas are more highly valued than others.
People, departments, offices, products, services and whatever comes to mind that should be avoided at this institution
None. They all have their strengths. Some are more patient, but all know their stuff and are willing to teach someone who is willing to learn.
How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
Pay is comparable. The partners care about you as a person.

This is a professional firm that is perfectly sized. This leads to a workload that is very easy going so you never feel overwhelmed. The staff here goes out of their way to make its employees feel part of the team and the firm's size reflects that. It's large enough that the employees are hard at work, but small enough that everyone has an opportunity to grow.

Unfortunately, like most firms, young employees need to invest some time in order to advance. This is not so much a specific issue with the firm, but something that is present in most places of employment. Other than this, the firm does need to upgrade its technologies as some are outdated.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
5.Former Employee, more than 5 yearsGreat Place to Work!Legal Secretary RecommendProsLCW is a great place to work. The work culture was great, everyone from the partners to the receptionist were approachable and friendly. They are willing to teach you new things and are very flexible. I enjoyed my 7 years there.ConsThe only con I can think of is that they dont pay your full parking unless youre an attorney. They give you a stipend towards but it doesnt even cover half. I dont really think this is fair to offer some employees parking and not others.Advice to ManagementThank you for showing appreciation to your employees.
