Advice to law firm management: The leadership team should consider being more open about how decisions are being made in regards to promotions. Giving people measureable career goals will benefit the entire firm.
Pros: I'm very happy with the compensation package I received when starting here, including the benefits. Health insurance is affordable and the coverage is good.
Cons: Upward mobility suffers because of a lack of transparency regarding how associates can advance within the firm. Nobody knows quite where they stand or what they need to do to improve their chances of a promotion.
