I think there needs to be more events for associates where we get a chance to get to know each other. It's a small suggestion but something I think can help.

The workplace at the firm is something that I appreciate since it is very professional. I love having the resources I need to do my job well. And my superiors trust me to make decisions regarding some cases. The fields we specialize in are also something I am really passionate about. I feel like the expertise of the firm is one of the best I've seen. I also feel like I'm paid well and the benefits are great.

Due to the large size of the firm, a lot of work place relationships are sacrificed. There doesn't seem to be an emphasis on getting workers to know each other.

Diversity Write a review

Differences make life richer and more rewarding. Diversity in our workplace enhances our personal and professional lives and increases our ability to serve our clients.

The firm's Diversity Committee, formed in 1993, reflects our commitment to this issue. It strives to attract and retain more diverse lawyers, creating a firm that better resembles the communities we serve. These are the same values reflected in the American Corporate Counsel Association's Diversity in the Workplace Statement of Principle, a diversity initiative adopted by a growing number of our clients.

Summer associate program

The Summer Associate recruiting process starts each year when Foster Swift visits a number of Midwest law schools and job fairs and accepts resumes from law students around the country.

Our goal in this process is to find those individuals who have the potential for outstanding long-term legal careers with Foster Swift. Many of the current attorneys at Foster Swift began their legal career as a Summer Associate at the firm.
