A Unique Experience

The firm needs to find a balance between work and away time. Start by offering more flexible hours for employees so that burnout is lessened.

This is a fantastic firm to work with. Employees here are treated as an extended family which is very welcoming. We were challenged and rewarded each step of the way. The firm was well equipped with large office spaces, a great staff, and flexible vacation hours for employees. Each member contributed to a greater good and it made working here a very unique experience that is sure to positively influence your career.

The work is demanding and requires you to put in much effort. It is hard to find a balance with regular life and work here because you are constantly working in and out of the firm.

Good Pay but Some Managers Are Incompetent

Management should delegate the assignments in a more efficient manner. I also recommend that the firm hire managers that know what they are doing.

The pay was very good. I also enjoyed communicating and working with all of my co-workers.

The assignments can be tedious and some of the management team is highly incompetent. Also, I wish we had better health benefits.

No Training System in Place

This firm really needs a formal training system in place to help develop new associates. Leadership should also consider becoming more transparent and improving communication.

I've never worked in a big law firm before, and Curtis is as big as they come. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I found everyone to be welcoming and easy to work with. The firm has offices all over the world, so there is plenty of opportunity available.

There seems to be no training system in place at this firm, and feedback is generally hard to come by. Leadership doesn't always do a good job communicating with the associates, which can cause confusion.
