You wouldn't take MY case in a million years
Improve all aspects of firm management and the equitable treatment of associates, give associates equal access to work and develops a staff infrastructure that equitably allocates work
Sophisticated work, good clients, stimulating tasks even at a junior level, hard to say anything good about the firm’s internal processes and their discriminatory neglect and mismanagement of out of favor associates
No management transparency, no mentorship, no clear path to obtain work assignments, favoritism is rampant, partners don’t provide timely feedback then hold and flaws in your performance against you even though they could have been addressed by proper communication
More of a structure for certain groups in the task department would help out. More refinement of duties is needed.
I was taught so much here and the focus was on helping and improving each other which helps out so much in all facets.
The hours they expect you to use in your life is very large. Some people cannot take the stress this place has.
I would like to see management do a better job at keeping gossipand small talk to a minimum. I would also like to see some of the unprofessional attorneys that I mentioned lectured or replaced.
The pay is great and I gained a lot of useful experience and knowledge during my stay at this firm. I also thought that the secretaries were very accommodating at all times.
Too much drama. I felt as though there was always gossip going around during work hours and it was very distracting and unprofessional. I also worked with a few new attorneys that I thought were extremely unprofessional.
I think the leadership team should really consider reducing the workload for associates. The work/life balance here is not the best and easing the pressure even a little would improve the quality of life for many associates.
The best thing about working here is definitely the support staff. They are professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and great at what they do. This firm runs like a dream, and the support staff are the ones to thank.
Working here is very demanding. The leadership team has very high expectations for associates and support staff, and they put incredible pressure on associates to deliver results. The end result is a very profitable firm where everyone spends a lot of late nights at the office.
Thank you.
