The Dangers of Getting Jobs Through Friends and Family

My advice would be to discourage employees to listen to drama created by a bad apple or two. I would also encourage more staff meetings to ensure the entire staff is on the same page.
Most of their employees have been there 20plus years. This speaks volumes in today's world of the "grass is always greener" mentality. They reward hard work and with bonuses, praise, and camaraderie. If you are a good employee they treat you like family. Excellent place to work.
I would say holding on to bad employees who cause office drama too long. There have been a few disgruntled employees that have passed through who tried to create a stressful work environment solely because being asked to retain professionalism issue the work place.
None, All current Partners are very professional and polite. Every partners speaks to the entire staff, provides an amazing staff parties during the holidays
Family Environment where the Attorneys are not condescending and pretentious as other firms in town certainly are. Also the fact that they give those staff memebers, that work hard and retain a high level of professionalism, greater responsibilities encouraging them to be apart of a strong team and work hand in hand with each other.
Update outdated technology, reward employees for their hard work with raises/true bonuses, and stop drinking (with the staff) while on the clock.
The best thing about this firm is leaving it! Old firm with long-term employees unwilling to keep up-to-date with changes in the legal field or securing client information.
Firm is extremely cheap (no raises and $100/yr. Christmas bonuses). Exchanges HIPAA documents via DropBox/Google Drive with clients who are not in-house legal professionals and do not have the legal standing to obtain the raw records. Microsoft Office & Adobe are the highest level of technology available (loaded on 10+ year old computers that crash multiple times daily). Because the current employees have hung around after multiple firm shake-ups have worked together for so long they have created an echo chamber that breeds an atmosphere of exclusivity and resists change/modernization. The attorneys have not kept up with changes to technology and are woefully ill equipped to manage litigation involving large document sets or federally protected records (in violation of Federal Rule 1 - Attorney Competency).
Thank you.
