Washington D.C. office seeks commercial litigation partner with 8+ years of experience and prior training from a large national law firm. The candidate should have deposition, hearing and trial experience required. Order of the Coif, Law Review or Clerkship experience is a plus. Should have portable litigation business.
Candidate will: Practice in all areas including medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death. Drafting complaints, motions, responses, legal research, medical research, deposition summaries, notice letters, pretrial statements, discovery responses, damages analysis, and all other aspects of litigation. Must exhibit strong attention to detail, must be a team player, thorough, with high-energy and be both enthusiastic and helpful.
The candidate will join the medical malpractice defense litigation team. This position is ideal for a bright and energetic litigator with an interest in healthcare law. Should have a minimum of 0-3 yearsâ€™ experience with personal injury or other complex civil litigation. Must have a Bachelor degree and Juris Doctorate. Admitted to practice in Virginia. Excellent writing, analytical, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
