Richmond Virginia-based small intellectual property practice is looking for an entrepreneurial and eager attorney to join its ranks. Experience in patents, trademarks, copyrights, and/or business law is preferred, but applicants with a strong academic foundation in IP will be considered. Applicants must have a desire to learn the business of running a law firm. Open to flexible working arrangements.
The candidate must have 2+ years of experience with procurement and prosecution. Should have B.S. (Computer Science. Electrical Engineering or Physics). Registered to practice before the USPTO is required. Must have drafted at least 50 Patent Applications.
Intellectual Property Litigation Associate
The candidates should have 1-6 years of patent litigation experience. Must have Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree. Excellent academic credentials required.
Intellectual Property Patent Attorney
The candidate must have engineering or other scientific degree(s), preferably in electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering, and 2+ years of patent prosecution experience. Large firm or IP-boutique experience is a plus. Must have superior writing ability, maturity and good communication skills. Must be registered and in good standing with the USPTO.
