The candidate will provide legal representation to clients in Family, Housing, Consumer, Income Maintenance and other civil matters. Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Mississippi.
The intern will do a variety of things, including day-to-day office work such as answering phones, writing letters and assisting with media clips. In addition, may be assigned to assist in various constituent case work or work on District-based projects of importance.
The candidate should have or pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university in office administration, secretarial science, or related field; or the equivalence of two secretarial courses which include an office administration class; and at least one year of practical secretarial experience.
