Job Title: In House Counsel

Job Responsibilities:
As an In-House Counsel at the company, your role involves navigating complex legal challenges presented by innovative technological advancements. You will be part of a small, emerging legal team that requires you to think creatively and proactively. Your responsibilities include:

- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial agreements with large enterprise and strategic customers.
- Handling SaaS, license, custom development, intellectual property, and platform services agreements.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes, particularly for strategic customer agreements.
- Providing legal advice to various teams such as Sales, Engineering, Product, Marketing, HR, and Communications across the US, Ireland, and Israel. This involves summarizing and communicating legal concepts and risks in a business-relevant manner.
- Advising business clients, as well as Finance and other stakeholders, on legal issues and risks, approval processes, company policies and procedures, IP, and business strategy.
- Managing agreements in compliance with company policies and risk tolerance.

Education and Experience Information:
- A JD degree is required.
- The candidate should have 5-10+ years of attorney work experience in areas such as commercial contracts, intellectual property matters, business development, and technology transactions.
- Experience can be from a law firm and/or in-house with technology companies.
- The candidate must be admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in at least one . state, preferably California.

Salary Information:
The annual salary hiring range for this position is $208,000 - $245,000 USD. Compensation is influenced by factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. The company employs a location-based compensation structure, which means salary ranges may vary for candidates in other locations. Additionally, the total compensation package may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Certain sales compensation programs offer the potential for above-target earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
