Job Title: Capital Markets Associate

Job Responsibilities:
The Capital Markets Associate at the law firm will be an integral part of the sophisticated Chambers-rated Capital Markets practice. The responsibilities for this mid-level associate position include:

- Representing a range of clients such as purchasers, sellers, servicers, creditors, and borrowers, including banks, finance companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, public companies, and private companies in structured finance transactions. This includes being involved in purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and financing transactions.
- Drafting and negotiating primary transaction documents and agreements.
- Communicating effectively with clients and transaction counterparties to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
- Collaborating with team members to manage closings efficiently.
- Providing support to the practice as needed, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should have 2-5 years of legal experience in structured finance, including experience with purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and financings. The position requires candidates to:

- Have 2-5 years of law firm experience.
- Be licensed to practice law in the State of New York and be in good standing.
- Include a law school transcript with their application.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position, pursuant to New York law, is $235,000 - $365,000, based on experience. The law firm offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays, and discretionary bonuses.
