GF Immigration Law - Abogada Julia, a leading immigration law firm, is seeking a highly skilled Associate RFE Attorney to join our team in Miami Beach, Florida. As an Associate RFE Attorney, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our clients by using your expertise in immigration law to respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other challenges issued by immigration authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze RFEs, NOIDs, and denials from USCIS and other immigration agencies.
- Draft well-structured and compelling RFE and NOID responses, affidavits, legal memoranda, and supporting documents.
- Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and clients to gather necessary evidence and supporting materials.
- Advise clients on legal options and case strategies in response to RFEs and other immigration challenges.
- Conduct in-depth legal research to strengthen case arguments and ensure compliance with immigration regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior legal staff and paralegals in case preparation and submission procedures.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration policies, regulations, and adjudication trends.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or Master of Laws (LLM) from an accredited law school.
- Active Bar license in good standing in any . state.
- 2-5 years of attorney experience in general immigration law, with specific expertise in family and humanitarian-based petitions, asylum and removal defense, and immigration challenges.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability with work schedules.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Advanced computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with immigration cases such as T-visas, U-visas, and VAWA.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.
- Knowledge of case management systems and immigration filing procedures.
