The Director of AMR Labor Relations Leader will lead a high-performing team of Labor Relations Business Partners and continue to develop the Labor Relations function and practices. This role requires a deep understanding of the US labor relations landscape and the ability to build and implement proactive labor relations strategies. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills and experience managing lean yet high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive AMR Labor Relations strategy aligned with Apple's core values and priorities
- Proactively address labor issues through engagement strategies and training programs
- Manage and lead Labor Relations Business Partners to synthesize feedback and identify themes
- Foster positive employee relations and ensure adherence to labor laws and internal policies
- Develop and maintain a management system for identifying and mitigating labor risks
- Lead the development of pre-campaign and campaign strategies in partnership with key stakeholders
- Serve as bargaining chairperson and support contract development and administration
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to make informed decisions and gain alignment
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in AMR Labor Relations
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
- Proven experience in developing and implementing proactive labor relations strategies
- Knowledge of collective bargaining, grievance processes, contract administration, and labor and management relationships
- Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading a labor/employee relations function in a technology/retail company
- JD education preferred
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Flexible attitude and approach
- Ability to think strategically and work in a fast-paced environment
- Low ego individual who prioritizes the needs of the business
Pay & Benefits:
- Base pay range between $249,800 and $400,000, determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location
