A reputable law firm is seeking a Junior Litigation Associate with 1–3 years of experience to join its Product Liability and Class Action group in the Minneapolis office. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior-level attorney interested in working on high-stakes litigation across multiple areas, including product liability, commercial litigation, and financial services. The position offers exposure to all aspects of case management and advocacy, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. Recent or upcoming judicial clerks are encouraged to apply.

Location

  • Minneapolis, Minnesota

Duties

  • Manage case development and litigation tasks under the guidance of senior attorneys

  • Conduct legal research, draft motions, memoranda, and pleadings

  • Participate in discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests

  • Assist with fact investigations and case assessments

  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other proceedings as appropriate

  • Support multiple litigation teams across product liability, business, and financial services cases

  • Maintain direct communication with clients and internal teams

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of general litigation experience

  • Strong interest in trial and pre-trial advocacy

  • Experience in product liability, business litigation, or financial litigation preferred

  • Judicial clerkship experience (completed or near completion) strongly encouraged

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

  • Admission to the Minnesota Bar required

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active member in good standing with the Minnesota State Bar
