Job Title: Family Law Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents related to family law cases, such as divorce petitions, custody agreements, and support orders.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools like LexisNexis to support case preparation.
- Manage case files and maintain document management systems for easy access and organization.
- Perform clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in family law matters.
- Prepare exhibits and evidence for court hearings and trials.
- Assist in the preparation of estate planning documents when necessary.
- Stay updated on changes in family law regulations and procedures to provide accurate information.

Education and Experience Information:
- Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a law firm, preferably focusing on family law.
- Strong skills in legal drafting, clerical work, data entry, and document management systems.
- Familiarity with criminal law or personal injury law is a plus but not required.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.

Salary Information:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $40, - $58, per year

Base Pay Range:
The minimum salary is $40K, and the maximum salary is $58K.
$40K – $58K/yr (Employer provided)
