Job Title:
Associate Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
The Associate Paralegal at the company will be responsible for a range of duties primarily focused on supporting **Members Only**’s legal team, particularly in the area of rental housing (multi-family) mortgage loans. The main responsibilities include:

- Preparing multi-family mortgage loan documents using the HotDocs software program.
- Organizing and maintaining both hard-copy and digital files and binders for multi-family loans in an orderly manner.
- Conducting preliminary reviews of loan closing documents and other necessary submissions for loan closing, including title insurance policies, surveys, and legal opinions.
- Assisting staff attorneys with various servicing issues such as real estate owned (REO), foreclosures, short sales, workouts, loan increases/restructures, transfers of ownership interest, and loan assumptions.
- Supporting various tasks and projects as required.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates interested in the Associate Paralegal position should meet the following education and experience criteria:

- 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal secretary in the real estate or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new computer programs.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree along with a Paralegal Certificate.
- 1–3 years of experience with multi-family loan closings is preferred.
- Prior experience with the HotDocs software program or similar loan document generation software is preferred.

Salary Information:
The hiring range for the Associate Paralegal position is between $61,074 and $79,395 per year. The minimum salary for the role is $53,109 annually, and the maximum salary is $69,041 annually.
