Job Title: Commercial Litigation Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Practice in areas including commercial litigation, professional liability, and employment law.
- Take and defend depositions, ensuring thorough preparation and effective questioning.
- Draft and argue dispositive motions to influence the direction and outcome of cases.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as a representative of clients, ensuring their interests are well-represented.
- Perform comprehensive legal research and provide detailed analysis of case law to support case strategies.
- Prepare pleadings and correspondence with precision and clarity, ensuring all legal documents are accurate and timely.
- Communicate effectively with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel to facilitate case progress and negotiation.
- Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients, maintaining professionalism and dedication to their cases.
Education and Experience Information:
- Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar, ensuring compliance with state legal practice requirements.
- Required to have 1-5 years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in commercial litigation, professional liability, and/or employment law.
- Strong academic credentials are essential, indicating a solid legal education background.
- Excellent research and writing skills are necessary for effective case management and documentation.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration skills.
