Job Responsibilities: * Represent clients during Master Calendar and Individual hearings before the Immigration Court in New York and other jurisdictions * Attend Adjustment of Status, Stokes, I-751, and Naturalization interviews * Prepare and file motions, joint motions, evidence, and other correspondence with the Immigration Court and Office of the Chief Counsel * File Notices of Appeal and Appellate briefs with the Board of Immigration Appeals * Prepare and litigate SIJS petitions before the New York Family Courts * Supervise the work of assigned experienced paralegals * Visit with clients detained in immigration and criminal facilities Required Qualifications: * At least 2 years of experience in Immigration Law * Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin is preferred Salary and Benefits: * Salary Range: $90, to $125, (Based on experience) * Fully covered medical Insurance * 401(k) program with employer matching * Generous vacation and sick days * Family and maternity leave * Fully covered CLE credits * Attorney referral fees * Generous year-end bonus The Law Firm of Andrew Friedman is offering an experienced Immigration Attorney the opportunity to join their team.
