Position Summary

The Tax Transformation Office at Deloitte serves as a key driver in enhancing the delivery of efficient, high-value, and quality tax services to clients. As a Senior on the Transformation team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Tax professionals, technologists, and other key stakeholders to drive improvements across the full range of Tax market offerings. Responsibilities

- Project management including development and management of workplans, scope management, and timely delivery of business outcomes.
- Identification of risks, issues, and change requests, and facilitation of formal decision making.
- Engagement with Tax professionals to understand client pain points, assess opportunities, and deliver process improvements.
- Business process analysis and modeling using agile and design thinking techniques.
- Decomposition of business requirements into functional requirements.
- Collaboration throughout the technology delivery lifecycle, including system and user testing.
- Business readiness assessments, learning material preparation, and deployment planning.
- Hypercare support, pilot support, and driving adoption through change management and communication.
- Analysis of feedback and development of action plans.
- Decommission of legacy systems.

The team

The Tax Transformation Office consists of professionals from various backgrounds, including Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and other IT professionals. The team is responsible for collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to define standard client service delivery processes and standard delivery enablers, as well as design, development, and deployment of technology to enable client service delivery. Members of the team elevate Deloitte Tax Professionals by identifying opportunities to streamline delivery, increase resource fungibility, improve ROI on technology investments, increase agility, and enhance the digital experience for both Deloitte and clients. The team also consults and executes on a wide range of projects with a strong focus on process design, deployment, and adoption, including stakeholder analysis, communications, learning, and change management.

Qualifications

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field.
- 3+ years of client service experience in one or more tax compliance related areas.
- Project management experience.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for process and technology improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.
- Process-driven thinking.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on project work and phase of the delivery cycle.
- Active accreditation in one of the following: CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or technology certifications.

Preferred:

- 3+ years of digital transformation experience.
- Agile delivery and design thinking experience.
- Business process analysis and design experience.
- End-to-end technology project delivery.
- Training delivery and post-production client facing support experience.
- Strong focus on deployment, adoption, and driving change.
- Experience in defining delivery standards.
- Agile or PMP certification.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel experience.
- Working knowledge of data management and metrics.

Salary Information

The wage range for this role takes into account a variety of factors, including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The estimated range for this role is $87,010 to $161,590. This range may vary depending on geographic location and other factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions are based on individual circumstances.
