Position Overview:
- Investigates and manages cases of moderate exposure and complexity in civil litigation
- Works with adjusters and clients to resolve claims efficiently
- Provides legal advice and negotiates settlements
- Conducts pre-trials, mediations, and arbitrations
- May independently conduct trials
- Acts as a mentor to developing attorneys

Qualifications:
- Insurance defense jury trial experience preferred
- Admitted to the bar and licensed to practice law in Texas
- Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in legal research and courtroom procedures
- Interest and knowledge in property and casualty insurance
- Agile and adaptive in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Willingness to mentor and teach others

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to use a personal computer and other standard office equipment
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
- Required to work on-site as needed
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, or stressful environment
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
