Attorney - Toxic Tort The candidate's duties include: Represent clients in all phases of Toxic Tort/Asbestos litigation from initiation to trial. Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions and case management conferences. Conduct complex legal research and discovery investigations. Draft discovery demands and responses, motions, case evaluation summaries, settlement agreements, pleadings, and legal memoranda. Should have 1-3 years legal experience in a law firm or other comparable legal environment. Strong academic credentials and New York Bar membership are required. Experience drafting briefs and pleadings, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions in court is a plus. Toxic Tort/Asbestos litigation experience is a plus.
