Spotts Fain PC, a well-established law firm in Richmond, VA, is currently seeking a Virginia licensed attorney with 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate and/or corporate transactions to join their business practice group. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced attorney to join a collaborative and team-oriented practice, working on a diverse range of issues including commercial real estate development, financing, leasing, corporate, and other transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have prior experience handling real estate financing transactions as lender's counsel, although this is not a requirement. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a generous bonus program.

The successful candidate will be a Virginia licensed attorney with at least 5 years of experience in handling commercial real estate and/or corporate transactions. They should also possess a superior academic background, excellent research and writing skills, and strong organizational abilities. Some portable business is desirable, but not required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse range of commercial real estate and corporate transactions
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys
- Advise clients on legal matters related to commercial real estate development, financing, leasing, and corporate transactions
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Manage a caseload and meet deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Virginia licensed attorney with 5+ years of experience
- Prior experience in commercial real estate and/or corporate transactions
- Strong academic background
- Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage a caseload and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of current laws and regulations related to commercial real estate and corporate transactions
