A reputable Georgia-based law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing legal team in Duluth. This full-time, in-office position provides an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed or early-career attorney to gain experience in diverse practice areas, including real estate, banking, corporate law, and litigation. Location:

Duties:

Real Estate Law:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, and related documents

  • Conduct due diligence, including title searches and property assessments

  • Advise clients on zoning, land use, and environmental issues

Banking Law:

  • Counsel clients on banking compliance and regulatory matters

  • Draft and review loan agreements and related financial instruments

  • Represent clients in financial disputes and negotiations

Corporate Law:

  • Advise on business formation, governance, mergers, and acquisitions

  • Draft corporate documents such as bylaws and shareholder/partnership agreements

  • Conduct legal research and offer strategic guidance on transactions

Litigation:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal briefs

  • Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and mediations

  • Assist with settlement negotiations and dispute resolution

General Legal Support:

  • Stay informed on legal developments across relevant practice areas

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to provide high-quality service

  • Manage multiple active cases and tasks efficiently

Requirements:

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Georgia (or have recently applied for admission)

  • Authorized to work in the United States

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Georgia Bar admission (or pending admission)
