The New York City Employees' Retirement System (NYCERS) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Agency Attorney Level 1 to join their Legal Division team. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $71, – $108,.

As an Agency Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks, providing legal support to NYCERS' General Counsel. This position requires a candidate with excellent attention to detail, strong legal writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate must also possess a collaborative nature while remaining action-oriented.

Some key responsibilities of this role include reviewing and validating member-generated documents, providing legal research and support to litigating attorneys, and drafting contracts and amendments. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of City government, pension laws, and Procurement Policy Board rules.

To be eligible for this position, you must be admitted to the New York State Bar and have at least one year of satisfactory United States legal experience or six months of service as an Agency Attorney Interne. Preferred candidates will have experience in areas of law related to the assignment.
