Job Title: Global Indirect Tax Automation Manager (Tax Technology)

Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and build third-party tax systems with major ERP and billing platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, PeopleSoft, Great Plains) and custom billing systems for clients across various industries.
- Serve as the Project Manager on assigned third-party tax software implementations (Vertex, Avalara, Sovos, Thomson Reuters, ADP, Billsoft) and custom software development projects.
- Manage assigned system integration projects involving major ERP and billing systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, etc.
- Conduct requirements analysis and design for indirect tax software implementations.
- Oversee programming for custom system interfaces and modifications of preexisting interfaces.
- Manage testing and support of assigned system go-live projects.
- Develop and deliver key project documentation including requirements documents, design documents, and test plans.
- Help develop and lead staff to enable them to perform core project activities.
- Participate in sales meetings and proposal development meetings.
- Network and develop key relationships both within the company and externally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
- Must have one of the following credentials:
- Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Lean or equivalent certification.
- Master’s degree in accounting, Tax Business Administration, Finance, or Information Systems Tax.
- Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
- Equivalent accounting certification or law license in home country (., Chartered Accountant).
- Five years of experience with SAP/Oracle functional and/or technical experience.
- Two years of Oracle EBS/ERP Cloud/SAP ABAP Design and Development experience.
- Deep technical understanding of SAP or Oracle, including the customization path in the solutions, table structures, and the core functional Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay streams.
- SAP Namespace development is a plus.
- Experience writing documentation for ERP implementations.
- Experience managing and developing team members for these types of implementations.
- Experience in public accounting is a plus.
- Strong computer skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.

Salary Information:
- The base salary range for this position in the firm's Chicago, IL office is between $136,000 and $204,000.
- The base salary range for this position in the firm's Los Angeles, CA, Bellevue, WA, and New York, NY offices is between $146,000 to $220,300.
- The base salary range for this position in the firm's San Francisco and San Jose offices is between $156,400 to $234,600.
