Job Title: Summer Associate - **Members Only** Fellowship

Job Responsibilities:
The Summer Associate Program at the law firm is designed to provide rising second-year law students with an immersive experience in the legal profession. Participants will engage in a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:
- Working on multiple projects across different practice areas under the supervision of various lawyers.
- Observing and, when possible, assisting in trials, hearings, depositions, negotiations, client meetings, and closings.
- Participating in Pro Bono matters, which offer substantive and challenging work assignments.
- Receiving mentoring from both partners and associates to enhance professional development.
- Engaging in a collaborative work environment where teamwork and communication are key.
- Attending writing skills training sessions to improve legal writing capabilities.
- Receiving guidance and detailed feedback on work product to foster growth and learning.
- Networking with peers and professionals at various social events.
- Participating in interactive training workshops, including those focused on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and deposition skills.

Education and Experience Information:
The fellowship is open to rising second-year law students who are:
- Enrolled full-time at an ABA-accredited law school.
- Demonstrating a commitment to promoting the law firm's culture of community, opportunity, and inclusion.
- Likely to practice after graduation in one of the law firm's . offices.
- Not recipients of a similar award or stipend from another law firm.

Application Requirements:
Applicants must submit a completed application by September 1 of their second year of law school. The application package should include:
1. A cover letter indicating the specific office to which they are applying.
2. A resume detailing academic and professional experiences.
3. Undergraduate and law school transcripts to demonstrate academic performance.
4. A personal statement of 500 words or less addressing:
a. Commitment to working in a particular practice area and to the city where the law firm office is located.
b. Contribution to supporting an environment that aligns with the law firm's culture and values.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Summer Associate position is $4,326 per week. In addition to the salary, recipients of the **Members Only** Fellowship will receive a $50,000 award.
