Job Title: Remote Senior Claims Resolution Specialist, Bodily Injury

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, investigate, and resolve attorney-represented and litigated auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims.
- Investigate and evaluate coverage, liability, damages, and settle claims within prescribed authority levels.
- Identify potential suspicious claims and refer them to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU).
- Identify opportunities for third-party subrogation.
- Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences, reporting to Home Office and local management on status.
- Confer with trial counsel and prepare trial reports.
- Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information regarding claims.
- Refer tasks to auxiliary resources as necessary and advise on the proper course of action.
- Respond to various written and telephone inquiries, including status reports.
- Ensure adequacy of reserves and recommend reserve increases on cases in excess of authority.
- Accountable for the security of financial processing of claims, as well as security information contained in claims files.
- Update files and provide comprehensive reports as required.
- Responsible for managing the practices and billing activities of outside and in-house counsel.

Education and Experience Information:
- Preferred: 3+ years of Personal Lines Third Party Auto Casualty experience and 3+ years of Litigation experience.
- The capabilities, skills, and knowledge required are normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least 3 years of directly related experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and investigative skills required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Strong competency in legal liability, general insurance policy coverage, and State Tort Law.
- Ability to obtain proper licensing as required.

Salary Information:
- Minimum Salary: USD $66,.
- Maximum Salary: USD $125,.
- Typical Starting Salary: $76,000 to $95,000.
- Eligible for up to a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment for experienced external candidates with an active Property and Casualty license in Florida or Texas.
- Flexible Time Off Annual Accrual: 15 days.

Additional Information:
- If residing within 50 miles of specified office locations, required to go into the office 2 days per month; all other candidates will work remotely.
- Excluded states: Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, and Washington DC.
- Training and reliable attendance during training are mandatory for success in this role.
