Senior Associate Attorney The candidate will manage a substantial caseload involving general liability defense and plaintiff employment litigation: Title VII, PHRA, 1981, 1983, Common Law Wrongful Term., FLSA, WPCL, etc. Draft, prepare and handle pleadings, motions, orders and legal memoranda. Draft and respond to written discovery and dispositive motions. Conduct legal research with proficiency and expert understanding of the rules of evidence. Review client documents, draft case evaluations and status report correspondence. Support and participate in trial preparation, mediations and court appearances. Interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, employment professionals, government agents, colleagues and staff.

The candidate should have 2-3 years as a practicing employment lawyer working for a law firm. Knowledge of Class Action and Personal Injury litigation is preferred. A . degree is required. Licensure in PA Federal Courts. Must be a self-starter able to demonstrate excellent analytical, writing, research, editing, and oral advocacy skills. Must demonstrate significant experience in negotiating settlements. Ability to continually display personal commitment and accountability for timely completion of ongoing firm projects under minimal monitoring or supervision. Drive to apply legal knowledge, analysis, and judgment to identify alternative approaches and their relative merits while also recommending solutions to routine and less complex legal problems.
