Associate Attorney The candidate will primarily handle second chair work on cases and foster the firm's efforts in prosecuting all manner of employment cases. Develop new cases, interview potential clients and witnesses, gathering evidence. Maintain client contact and develop relationships with impacted individuals. Draft state and federal court pleadings and motions. Manage case discovery, including draft demands and responsive answers, document review, and production. Calendar events and managing case organization. Handle depositions, mediations, and court appearances as soon as up to speed.

The candidate must have 1-2 years of litigation or clerkship experience; demonstrated interest and skill in legal writing, research, and analysis; ability to speak clearly, effectively, and persuasively; outstanding time management and organizational skills, with careful attention to detail; demonstrated ability to perform well independently and with grace under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment; collaborative and collegial approach to work, and an ability and desire to work and learn in a team-based environment; commitment to advocating on behalf of those who have been deprived of their legal rights on the job. Must be admitted to the New York Bar.
