Job Title: EDGE Internship Summer Program (Engineer & Patent Scientist)

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform patent and technical research and writing.
- Review patent applications and draft documents for attorney review.
- Research and report on patent filings.
- Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by the intern’s direct report.
- Work directly with intellectual property professionals.
- Gain exposure to the patent engineer, scientist, and agent program.
- Develop research and writing skills under the guidance of skilled professionals.
- Become well-versed in the latest technologies and technical developments.
- Receive mentorship from an experienced Intellectual Property professional to set goals and access necessary tools for success.
- Receive a formal performance appraisal and feedback at the end of the internship.

Education and Experience Information:

- Highly proficient research skills and demonstrated analytical ability are required.
- Candidates must be detail-oriented with excellent time management and follow-up skills.
- Strong initiative and proactivity in working with others are essential.
