Job Title: Senior Manager, Contracts, Large Military Engines (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:
- Propose, negotiate, and execute high-complexity contracts while leading, developing, and coaching direct reports to effectively execute their tasks.
- Review contractual documents, terms and conditions, and lead contract flow down processes. Provide requirement interpretation and guidance to direct reports and manage other contract administration tasks.
- Provide guidance and direction to a team of direct reports, ensure a development plan for them, oversee their job functions, provide performance feedback and support, and communicate senior leadership directives as required.
- Summarize contractual issues, research compliance matters, interpret regulations, identify risks, advise on intellectual property concerns, and formulate and present recommendations to senior and aftermarket leadership.
- Draft formal correspondence for addressing contractual matters and assist in dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with internal functional organizations (Finance, VSL, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Pricing, Legal) for daily program execution and proposal processes.
- Support special projects and process improvement events as needed.
- Prepare and present various review packages to senior leadership internally and to customers.
- Coach, guide, train, and mentor junior contract professionals, reviewing their work to ensure quality and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead, manage, and reshape business interactions at senior levels and under challenging situations.
- Moderate travel required (<20%).

Education and Experience Information:
- Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a . government-issued security clearance is required.
- . citizenship is required, as only . citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Legal training with a Juris Doctorate.
- Experience in negotiations.
- SAP experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Previous managerial experience.
- Experience working on military contracts.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this role is $124,000 - $250,000 USD. This range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The company considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
