Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of litigation cases, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, attending hearings and depositions, and negotiating settlements
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members on cases
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to litigation
- Attend training and professional development programs as required
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in litigation
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
