Job Title: Jr. Associate Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts to determine a course of action.
- Draft legal documents, including reports, contracts, and legal briefs.
- Keep line manager informed about important developments in each case.
- Ensure client data remains confidential and is securely stored.
- Report hours spent on each assignment.
- Stay updated on changes to legislation.
- Collaborate with team and internal departments.
- Understand and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Manage demanding and detail-oriented immigration processes.
- Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions to teams.
- Identify legal issues and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Handle immigrant visa petitions and consular processing.
- Draft and finalize various documents, such as correspondence, forms, and evidence; proofread for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
- Assist in preparations by providing relevant research data.
- Maintain confidentiality with organizational information.
- Perform additional tasks or functions as necessary for daily operations.

These responsibilities involve handling highly confidential and sensitive information, requiring expertise, discretion, and good judgment.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and public speaking skills.
- Good research skills and techniques, including using case studies for supporting claims and arguments.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
- Proficient with technology and ability to learn software systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and MacOS systems.

- Knowledge of English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

- Ability to type 45 WPM or more.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.

Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
- Passed most recent bar exam; licensure in progress or pending admission to the bar.
- 1+ years in law clinics.

Salary Information:
- Earn a salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Opportunity to earn individual and team incentives.
